National Night Out - 2024
The 2024 National Night Out took place
on October 1
st
this year!
There were more than 100 adults and an
estimated 120 children in attendance.
Community members enjoyed a bounce
house, face painting for the kids, and a
corn hole tournament for the adults.
There was live entertainment by Noah
Derrick. To quench our hunger and
thirst, there were four food trucks to
meet that need: Pizza Piero's, The
Green Trailer, BBQ, and Gelu Italian Ice.
All served some great food. Please
continue to support these local food
trucks throughout the year.
Once again, we were honored to have
the Bell County Sheriff’s Department
and Salado Police Department join us,
along with the Salado Fire Department
and EMTs; each made their equipment
available for the youngsters to explore
and be inspired.
Amity Estates values our first responders
and appreciates all of the dedication and
great services they provide to our
community. Thank you to Bobby
Whitson, our Bell County Commissioner,
for joining us once again and supporting
the great community we call Amity
Estates.
A tremendous number of donated door
prizes were provided by local Salado,
Belton and Temple businesses.
Those who attended had a great time
coming out to meet their neighbors and
celebrate our neighborhood together.
A BIG Thanks to the coordinators of this
event, Lisa Boyd, Leeann Butler and
Rich Rogers. Your hours of hard work
made this event a great success.
